Five New Records of Tubuliferan thrips (Thysanoptera: Phlaeothripidae) from Uttarakhand, India, with an Updated Checklist

Abstract: Five species of Phlaeothripidae (Thysanoptera: Tubulifera) have been recently recorded from Uttarakhand, India. These include Androthrips ramachandrai Karny, 1926; Gynaikothrips uzeli Zimmerman, 1900; Haplothrips (Haplothrips) andresi Priesner, 1931; Haplothrips (Haplothrips) ganglbaueri Schmutz, 1913; and Haplothrips (Haplothrips) gowdeyi (Franklin, 1908). An updated checklist of Tubuliferan thrips species recorded from Uttarakhand, including five new regional records is provided.
