Abstract: Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) have become essential in tenders ranging from environmental monitoring to smart cities. A critical component in WSN design is mathematical modelling, which helps optimize energy usage, routing, coverage, and node deployment. This paper presents a comprehensive study on sensor-based mathematical modelling and calculations tailored for WSNs. A model is developed that takes into account node density, energy consumption, transmission range, and network lifetime. Results are validated through MATLAB simulation, demonstrating the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed model.
