Abstract: Occupational safety at workplaces in workplaces that are not fully enclosed and at workplaces outdoors Basic occupational health and safety requirements for professional outdoor activities are contained in Section 5.1 of the appendix to the Workplace Ordinance. A technical rule for workplaces has been developed that applies to hazards caused by weather. Assessment criteria have been established for natural UV radiation, precipitation, wind forces, as well as thunderstorms and lightning strikes. Employers must consider measures to protect employees in outdoor workplaces.
