Abstract: Reducing accident rates and/or unsafe acts with Behavior Based Safety Workplace safety is not a matter of chance. Those working safely not only protect themselves and others but also contribute to the overall success of the company. The method of Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) provides valuable support in this regard. This article offers a practical look at how companies can use BBS to sustainably reduce the number of unsafe acts and (near) accidents, while also strengthening employees’ safety awareness.
