Abstract: Selection and use of exoskeletons in the workplace – The new DGUV Information 208-062 “Humans and Workplace – Selection and Use of Exoskeletons” Exoskeletons are increasingly being tested and used in companies as a work ergonomics measure. Companies have many unanswered questions about topics such as how they work, their potential for reducing strain, possible applications, occupational safety regulations, and the correct test procedures and introduction of exoskeletons in the workplace. The aim of the newly created DGUV Information 208-062 is to provide a comprehensible and practical document that guides those responsible for safety and health in companies step by step through the process of selecting an exoskeleton.
