Research on the Effectiveness of Large Language Models in the Translation of New Northeast Literature

Abstract: As the models continue to update and develop, they have also impacted the translation industry. The translation quality of large models has been continuously improving, posing a significant challenge to traditional translation models. Large language models can handle the basic tasks of non-literary translation, but there is still insufficient exploration in the field of translation quality for literary translation. New Northeast Literature presents unique characteristics in vocabulary and narrative style, which will inevitably bring more difficulties to large model translation. This paper will use natural language processing technology to evaluate the effectiveness of machine translation and large language model translation.
