Abstract: This article aims to understand how the professional trajectory of the manager Benedita Pereira Brasil was, in Professional Education at the Júlia Gonçalves Passarinho school, in the municipality of Santarém/PA. The survey was carried out with Benedita Pereira Brasil and four other educational managers who participated in her professional journey. The research was methodologically anchored in the History of life, from a qualitative approach. The methodological choice of analysis of the research corpus focused on Discursive Textual Analysis. The analysis process of the participants' narratives started from two categories defined a priori: struggles and challenges. Benedita Pereira Brasil did not know the dimension that her work provided as a leader and how her experiences would re-signify in the practice of these managers who participated in the research and who promote education in the municipality of Santarém, in Pará.
