Nasolabial dirofilariasis in humans: a case report

Abstract: We report a case of dirofilariasis affecting the nasolabial region, which appears to be only the second case described in the worldwide medical literature. The patient's medical history, diagnostic work-up, and treatment are described, with particular emphasis on aspects relevant to dental practitioners.
