Heed guidance for managing aftermath of violent incidents

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: CLEARWATER BEACH, Fla. — After a violent incident occurs on campus and the perpetrator has been taken into custody, it's only natural to breathe a collective sigh of relief. But that doesn’t mean it's all over or that everyone can or will go back to normal right away. That's according to Gene Deisinger, Ph.D., President of Deisinger Consulting LLC, a threat management expert who spoke at Stetson University's National Conference on Law and Higher Education.
