Abstract: ABSTRACT The Bat-VFDB database was developed to enable quick screening for, and identification of, virulence genes in genomes of Brucella species. This database comprises a complete set of known Brucella spp. virulence genes and can be used by the ABRicate tool for screening large sets of genomes at once.
