Abstract: This research studies about the lizes financial parameters to assess the performance of merged institutions before and after the merger. The study indicates that most work in this field has mitigated negative effects on businesses from mergers and acquisitions. It uses statistical methods like the independent t-test to examine the impact of mergers on bank performance. The findings suggest that mergers and acquisitions have positively affected banks, enhancing efficiency, profitability, and the distribution of profits to equity shareholders.
