Abstract: ABSTRACT First Person is a series of interviews with the first authors of a selection of papers published in Journal of Cell Science, helping researchers promote themselves alongside their papers. Priyanka Verma is first author on ‘ Morphological reprogramming of primary cilia length mitigates the fibrotic phenotype in fibroblasts across diverse fibrotic conditions’, published in JCS. Priyanka is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the lab of Dr John Varga at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA, investigating the link between primary cilia and fibrosis to reveal pathways that could be targeted for therapy.
