Features of the Organizational and Economic Mechanism of Rehabilitation and Habilitation of People with Disabilities in the Republic of Belarus

Abstract: The article considers theoretical and methodological approaches that reveal the content, functions and methods of the economic mechanism. The article analyzes organizational, functional, economic, institutional and social aspects of rehabilitation and habilitation of people with disabilities in the Republic of Belarus. It substantiates the need to use in scientific circulation the concept of "organizational and economic mechanism of rehabilitation and habilitation of people with disabilities", which is proposed to be understood as a set of interrelated methods, procedures and means by which the coordination, implementation and development of rehabilitation and habilitation areas are ensured in order to restore physical health, compensate for limitations in life activities and integrate people with disabilities into the socio-economic space of the country. The directions for the application of the developed provisions in Belarusian practice are determined.
