SNARE Proteins Are Required for Macroautophagy

Abstract: (Cell 146, 290–302; July 22, 2011) In Figure S3A of the originally published version of this article, we presented wild-type (WT) control images that partially overlapped with those in Figure 6B. In addition, we identified a typographical error in the original Figure S3A legend, which incorrectly listed the WT strain as UNY145 (W303-1B ATG9-3xGFP::URA3 RFP-APE1::LEU2). The correct WT strain for both figures is JGY191 (BY4742 ATG9-3xGFP::URA3 RFP-APE1::LEU2), as both experimental strains share the BY4742 background. The updated Figure S3A legend reflecting the accurate WT strain, including a clarifying note, is below: “The representative WT control shown here includes parts of the same images as in Figure 6B, as both experimental strains share the BY4742 background and JGY191 serves as the appropriate WT control for both experiments.” No changes were made to the images, quantification, or conclusions in either figure. The authors apologize for any confusion this error may have caused. (Figure presented).
