Abstract: The article analyzes the life path of Kurmanjan Datka, an outstanding personality in the history of Kyrgyzstan, who made a significant contribution to the state and social development of the country. Its role in promoting international relations, diplomatic efforts and governance of the Altai region in the difficult historical conditions of the 19th century is emphasized. The study focuses on the uniqueness of Kurmanjan Datka as a female leader who managed to achieve a high status in traditional society and leave an indelible mark in the history of the Kyrgyz people.
