Abstract: This study reviewed research on dental and aesthetic tourism. The review is based on thematic and sentiment analyses of scientific articles. The results indicate that this type of tourism plays a significant role in the economic development of tourist destinations such as Croatia, Hungary, and Turkey. Lower prices and high-quality services were identified as key factors influencing the decisions of health tourists. Health tourism users not only seek medical services but also take the opportunity to engage in other tourist experiences. However, it is essential to note the significant risks associated with these procedures, which include infections, failed implants, and inadequate postoperative support. Therefore, countries that promote medical tourism must enhance their regulations and ensure that health professionals are adequately monitored and sanctioned in the event of professional complications and substandard postoperative care. It is essential to ensure that ethical marketing practices are adhered to.
