Abstract: Pathologic extrusion of the meniscus, defined as displacement of more than 3 mm beyond the tibial plateau border, can disrupt tibiofemoral contact mechanics by reducing hoop strain resistance and increasing articular cartilage contact pressure. Meniscal extrusion following meniscal allograft transplantation is well documented, with studies reporting extrusion rates of over 40%. This Technical Note aims to describe the centralization of a meniscus allograft during transplantation.
