Fulminant Hepatitis Associated Aplastic Anemia Presented Concomitantly With Liver Injury and Affected by Liver Transplantation: a Case Series

Abstract: Background: Hepatitis-associated aplastic anemia (HA-AA) is a rare but life-threatening condition, typically characterized by sequential onset of acute hepatitis followed by bone marrow failure. We present two pediatric cases with an atypical, concurrent presentation of HA-AA, leading to rapid hepatic deterioration and urgent liver transplantation.
