Abstract: ABSTRACT Serial passaging is useful for investigating the evolutionary trajectory of viruses in vitro , allowing comparison with evolutionary trends in the real-world human population. We announce here a 2020–2023 longitudinal data set comprising amplicon-based whole-genome sequencing from 11 severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) isolates carried through a range of 33–100 passages.
