Generation of an induced pluripotent stem cell line (CSBZZUi003-A) from a healthy male volunteer

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Primary fibroblasts were obtained from the dermal tissue from a healthy 50-year-old male donor and reprogrammed into induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) using electroporation of reprogramming plasmids. The undifferentiated state of iPSCs was confirmed by immunofluorescence and flow cytometry analysis of stem cell markers, including TRA-1-60, Nanog, SOX2, and OCT4. The cells exhibited a normal karyotype. To evaluate their differentiation potential, the iPSCs were subcutaneously injected into immunodeficient mice, resulting in teratoma formation containing representative tissues of all three germ layers: endoderm, mesoderm, and ectoderm.
