Efficient Perovskite/Silicon Tandem Solar Cells Using Hybrid Two‐Step Inkjet Printing with Edge Isolation Precision

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Tandem Solar Cells Crucial advancements are still needed to enable scalable, reliable fabrication of perovskite photovoltaics. In article number 2500362, Raphael Pesch, Ulrich Wilhelm Paetzold, and co-workers present a hybrid evaporation and inkjet printing method to produce high-efficiency perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells. The process achieves 27.4% power conversion efficiency on fully textured silicon with uniform, edge-to-edge coverage, meeting industry standards and offering strong potential for large-scale commercial solar cell production.
