Abstract: This manuscript presents key statistical recommendations for authors submitting to Nowotwory Journal of Oncology, derived from extensive editorial experience across medical journals. It emphasizes the adoption of the Statistical Analyses and Methods in the Published Literature (SAMPL) guidelines to enhance transparency, accuracy, and reproducibility in oncology research. The paper highlights the importance of reporting effect size measures alongside p-values to ensure meaningful interpretation and clinical relevance of research findings. Furthermore, it advocates for clear authorship responsibility in statistical analyses and open access to research data to strengthen accountability and reproducibility.
