Abstract: This study aimed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of DOS209 in 78 adults aged 19–70 years by assessing antiglycation, antioxidant, and liver function markers. Participants were randomly assigned to receive either DOS209 or a placebo daily for a specified duration under double-blind conditions. The primary efficacy endpoint was to evaluate the antiglycation functionality of DOS209 through changes in glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) and advanced glycation end product (AGE) levels. Secondary endpoints included changes in fasting blood glucose, AGE levels, lipid metabolism markers (triglycerides, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol), antioxidant markers (MDA, SOD, CAT, GPx), and liver function markers (AST, ALT, ALP, γ-GT). The safety parameters were assessed using hematological, blood chemistry, and urine tests. DOS209 supplementation significantly improved antiglycation markers, with reduced HbA1c and AGE levels compared to the placebo. Secondary outcomes included favorable changes in lipid metabolism, antioxidant activity, and liver function parameters. No significant adverse events or safety concerns were reported, and all safety evaluations remained within normal limits. This preliminary clinical trial suggests that DOS209 has potential efficacy in improving antiglycation, antioxidant, and liver function markers in adults, with a favorable safety profile. Further studies are warranted to confirm these findings in larger, long-term trials.
