Schiff Base Heterobimetallic Complex as Single-Source Precursor

Abstract: A bimetallic complex based on a salophen-type ligand was synthesized. The compound was characterized by ESI-MS, single-crystal, and powder X-ray diffraction. The heterobimetallic complex was thermally treated to investigate its capacity as a single-source precursor for the formation of mixed metal oxides.
