Reconceptualizing education in the Stakeholder era: A futures perspective
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This paper presents a comprehensive exploration of ’Stakeholder Pedagogy,’ an innovative educational model adapted from the principles of stakeholder capitalism. In the context of a rapidly evolving societal and economic landscape, this pedagogical approach extends beyond traditional educational frameworks, focusing on a broader array of stakeholders inclusive of students, educators, industry, community, and governmental bodies. This reimagined model reflects a shift towards a more holistic, integrative, and socially responsible approach to education, aiming to create value not just for students, but for all participants in the educational ecosystem.
