Thermal radiation influence on tetra hybrid bio-nanofluid flow through stenosed artery with Caputo-Fabrizio fractional derivatives
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This paper investigates the flow mechanisms within a porous artery, focusing on biological aspects during the flow of Bingham–Papanastasiou tetra hybrid bio-fluid with the impact of periodic body acceleration. The constitutive equation of the Bingham–Papanastasiou fluid is utilized to analyze the dynamic behaviour of blood. The Tiwari-Das model is employed to incorporate nanoparticles into the regulating flow equations. Blood flow is driven by the heart's pumping activity, and the governing equations are nondimensionalized utilizing dimensionless variables and simplified under mild stenosis assumptions. The Caputo-Fabrizio time derivative is applied. An analytical solution to the problem is derived using the Laplace transform and the finite Hankel transform. The effects of various parameters on velocity, temperature, surface shearing stress, and entropy production are presented and discussed in detail through graphical illustrations. The analysis reveals that an external magnetic field decreases blood flow mobility, highlighting its adverse impact on human health. These outcomes offer new perceptions into the hemodynamics of diseased arteries and have potential implications for biomedical applications such as magnetic therapy, nanoparticle-assisted drug delivery, and the optimization of thermal regulation strategies in cardiovascular treatment.
