Abstract: Expression of T-cell co-stimulatory and co-inhibitory molecules. Expression of CTLA-4, TNFRSF18, PD-1, OX40 and 4-IBB in the CD4+ and CD8+ T-cell compartments was measured by flow cytometry under resting conditions and after 4-hour incubation with ionomycin (0.91 µg/mL) and PMA (20 µg/mL). Brefeldin A (10 μg/mL) was added in both conditions. Differences between serial evaluations on day 1 of cycles 1, 2 and 4 were examined in skin/joints scGVHD responder (C1D1: n=11; C2D1: n=13; C4D1: n=12) and non-responder patients (C1D1: n=7; C2D1: n=7; C4D1: n=5). n.s., non-statistically significant. *Omnibus Friedman test. In post-hoc tests, only a statistically significant difference between visits C2D1 and C4D1 was detected (p=0.011).
