Abstract: Ancient science and technology exhibitions in science and technology museums are traditional science and technology education facilities operating in the science center mode, with humanistic, scientific and participatory characteristics. This makes the ancient science and technology exhibition have at least two unique educational values, one is the comprehensive display of ancient traditional science and technology achievements, and the other is the manifestation of the humanistic connotation of science and technology. Based on the above understanding, the ancient science and technology exhibition in science and technology museums can give full play to its value in four aspects in the future: firstly, accurately replicate the exhibits and present a variety of restoration solutions; secondly, design various thematic exhibitions and educational activities to revitalize the exhibition resources; thirdly, focus on basic research and drive the exhibition and education work with scientific research; fourthly, integrate educational practice and scientific research results and launch high-level works.
