Abstract: The political and cultural communications were closely connected between the imperial court and Xizang during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, which embodied in the material object reflecting the relationship between Han and Zang by the form of materialization. The bowls with stand shares and covers have different names in different historical periods. As the material evidence for Han-Zang communications, they are popular in the imperial court and Buddhist temple as Tibetan Buddhism tea sets and offerings, and also reflect the important thoughts of the imperial court of Ming and Qing Dynasties on the management of Xizang. Studying the evolution of the shape, decorative features and uses of the bowl with stand shares and covers from the historical archives, the relics handed down from ancient times and images are of great significance for interpreting the historical and cultural connotations contained in these artifacts and the Han-Zang cultural communications embodied in it.
