Abstract: • Systemic drug delivery to brain tumors is limited by the blood-brain barrier • Targeting brain tumors via the cerebrospinal fluid is largely unexplored in humans • Intrathecal injection of an imaging tracer in a patient accumulated in the tumor • The tracer remained in the tumor’s extravascular space for more than 48 hours • We present a strategy for visualizing brain tumors and extravascular drug delivery
