Life cycle carbon accounting and waste valorisation in litchi supply chains for climate-resilient food systems

Abstract: Household waste (40.44%) and cultivation (31.96%) were identified as major emission sources, which were often overlooked, contributing to a total carbon emission of 4607.07 kg CO 2 -e per hectare from the overall losses across the litchi supply chain.
