Comments on “Plant‐based diet index and risk of hepatocellular carcinoma: Findings from a prospective cohort study”

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: In summary, the study reinforces diet quality as a potentially modifiable lever for primary HCC prevention. Future investigations should incorporate repeated dietary measures, richer socioeconomic and environmental data, comprehensive medication/comorbidity adjustment, and formal prediction modeling to determine whether plant-forward dietary counseling adds actionable value in diverse Asian populations.
