Van Wyk–Grumbach Syndrome With Insulin Resistance in Children: A Case Report

Abstract: This case reports an 8 year-5 month-old girl diagnosed with Van Wyk-Grumbach Syndrome (VWGS) and co-existing insulin resistance from China. The patient achieved complete resolution of clinical manifestations with thyroid hormone replacement therapy. Pediatricians should raise awareness of this rare and underdiagnosed disorder to avoid unnecessary tumor investigations or surgical intervention.
