Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This narrative review addresses a nascent field in neurophysiology—the closed-loop methods of musical stimulation. The review discusses the therapeutic properties of music, including the role of closed-loop musical stimulation in solving the problem of adequate selection of musical stimuli in order to increase the effectiveness of music therapy. The available experimental data on the conditions, features of application, and achievements of various types of closed-loop musical stimulation are considered.
