Abstract: This article describes the work of journalist, musician, film scholar, and public figure Anatoly Vladimirovich Goldobin (1882–1927) as the head of KrymROSTA (December 1920 – November 1923) and editor-in-chief of the Krasny Krym newspaper (March-August 1923). It examines A. V. Goldobin’s contribution to the development of news agency and print media journalism in Crimea, as well as to the training of journalists in the region (a journalism school, a lecture course for worker correspondents, and a bibliographic index). This article introduces documents from the State Archives of the Russian Federation and the State Archives of the Republic of Crimea, revealing details of A. V. Goldobin’s journalistic work in Simferopol from December 1920 to November 1923, as well as his publications in the newspaper «Krasny Krym» and the literary and artistic collection «Pomoshch,» providing insight into the author’s ideological, political, and artistic views. Goldobin’s journalistic and public activities are presented against the backdrop of the socioeconomic transformations of the first years of Soviet power in Soviet Russia and Crimea, closely linked to the general patterns of development of the party-Soviet media system and the Russian Telegraph Agency (ROSTA).
