Fabrication of Cu-Doped Li4Ti5O12 Particles Embedded in Reduced Graphene Oxide Nanosheets for High-Rate Lithium-Ion Battery Anode

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: In this study, Cu-doped Li4Ti5O12 and Cu-doped Li4Ti5O12@rGO anode materials are synthesized via a facile wet chemical approach combined with freeze-drying. Consequently, LTO-0.1Cu@rGO anode delivers the ideal rate capacity of 376.1, 350.1, 327.2, 297.7, and 259.9 mAhg-1 at 0.2, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, and 5.0 Ag-1, respectively, and stable long-life cyclic performance of 223.0 mAhg-1 at 5.0 Ag-1 after 1000 cycles with 94.8% retention. The superior electrochemical performance is ascribed to unique structure of the Cu-doped LTO particles uniformly embedded in conductive interconnected rGO network.
