Plaque‐Targeted Delivery of Fluoride‐Free MXene Nanozyme for Alleviating Atherosclerosis via Sonocatalytic Therapy (Adv. Mater. 48/2025)

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Alleviating Atherosclerosis via Sonocatalytic Therapy A dual enzyme-mimicking and ultrasound-responsive Nb2C-Pt@HA-PEG nanozyme efficiently eliminates ROS in the atherosclerotic microenvironment and performs anti-inflammatory capability under ultrasound irradiation. Nb2C-Pt@HA-PEG-mediated sonocatalytic therapy (SCT) exerts an outstanding anti-atherosclerosis efficacy by regulating intraplaque redox homeostasis, contributing to lesional shrinkage and a more stable plaque phenotype in plaque-bearing mice.
