Abstract: At the major business district of La Défense, Paris (France), the two-day 2nd European Demato-Oncology Congress brought together international experts and researchers in the field of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer. The chairs, Prof. Dr. Alexander M.M. Eggermont (Utrecht University, Netherlands) and Prof. Dr. Caroline Robert (Gustave Roussy Cancer Campus, Paris, France), coordinated and delivered presentations summarising major advances in skin cancer research, including new developments in prevention and screening, surgical interventions, risk stratification tools, adjuvant and neoadjuvant therapies, the role of immune-related adverse events, first-line and second-line treatment strategies, as well as new and emerging therapeutic approaches and early stage translational research.
