Improved Successful Transmission Probability With Multi‐Nano Source and Multi‐Coordinator Nano Node Networks in IoT Medical Healthcare

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: ABSTRACT In the human body, numerous nanosensors can monitor physiological parameters and transmit data to designated coordinators, enhancing data transmission efficiency, and reliability. This work introduces the Multi‐Nano Source and Multi‐Coordinator Nano Node (MSMC) protocol, which allows data from multiple nanosensors to be sent simultaneously to numerous coordinators, ensuring faster, more robust transmission. The successful transmission probability of the MSMC protocol was mathematically formulated and derived concerning distance, number of ducts, and SNR. The protocol was evaluated regarding distance, number of ducts, and signal‐to‐noise ratio (SNR). The MSMC protocol's performance is assessed through the successful transmission probability metric, demonstrating superior success rates and robustness over standard models, making it a promising solution for nanosensor communication in biomedical applications. The average improvement of the MSMC over dual‐hop communication is around 51%.
