Abstract: Multiple immunofluorescence staining using the Akoya Opal staining kit requires multiple steps and precautions. In this protocol, I provide a detailed explanation of all the required steps for staining mouse brain sections. This protocol can be used to stain other human or mouse tissue sections. This multiplex staining is a cost-effective technique that enables the visualization of the spatial distribution of six different proteins on the same tissue.
