Darboux Polynomials and First Integrals for the Generalized Lorenz System

Abstract: We study the generalized Lorenz dynamical system describing convective phenomena in magnetized fluid. We employ computer algebra to effectively support the Darboux method of solving differential equations. Darboux polynomials and various types of first integrals are determined.
