Compressive Goiter Hiding Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma Metastases to the Thyroid Gland—Report of a Rare Case and Literature Review
Year: 2026
Type: article
Study design: Case Report
Abstract: Thyroid gland metastases should be considered in a patient presenting with thyroid disease and a history of cancer, particularly clear cell renal cell carcinoma. These may present many years after primary tumor resection and coexist with goiter or thyroid tumors. Early detection can significantly impact the patient's treatment and prognosis.
