[EN [This paper examines the reality of pre-Alexandria according to archeological data, which indicate that there was an old temple fortress during the New Kingdom where Atum Khepre, with other gods, was adored. The researcher suggests the name of the place pre-Alexandria and the name of its temple fortress according to the inscriptions. In this research, I study some blocks and statues that were discovered in Alexandria, dating to the Pharaonic period. Although scholars, such as Jean Yoyotte, reported that there was no Pharaonic site before Alexander the Great, this study helps conclude the existence of a Pre- Alexandrian settlement. Recent archeological discoveries include evidence found underwater and beneath the ground at Alexandria. According to this study, we can know the ancient name of the location Pre -Alexandria and explain why it was a perfect place for ancient Egyptians to adore Atum. The research presents a new idea about exploring Pre- Alexandria and the secrets of adoring Atum in pre-Alexandria. I explore the significance of "Rhakotis" and Raqoudu رقودة to determine the name of the area before it was known as Alexandria. Furthermore, I investigate the different meanings between "Rhakotis" and Raqoudu رقودة. Furthermore, the present research includes an examination of the temple fortress preceding the establishment of Alexandria and who lived there according to the ancient Egyptian texts.
