Abstract: Herein, we present the synthesis of N-(3-methoxyphenethyl)-2-propylpentanamide, a derivative of valproic acid. The compound has been thoroughly characterized through melting-point determination, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry. The comprehensive analytical data obtained from these techniques confirm the successful preparation and structural integrity of the newly synthesized molecule.
