Abstract: The Palaearctic species of Diploplectron W. Fox, 1893 are reviewed and a key for species recognition is provided. Diploplectron iranicum sp. nov. from Iran and the hitherto unknown female of Diploplectron pulawskii Kazenas, 1975 are described. A distribution map of all Palaearctic species is given.
