Phenomenology of Flavor Symmetries: An Example

Abstract: We undertake the issue of flavor symmetries in the context of lepton masses and mixing which can lead to possible signatures in the current and future experiments at the intensity, energy, and cosmic frontiers. Giving an example of the \(A_4\) discrete symmetry, we show how to construct corresponding neutrino mass terms, leading to neutrino mass and mixing matrices with suitable correlations between parameters and unique phenomenological predictions.
