Abstract: As youth mental health challenges reach unprecedented levels, advocates are calling for solutions that reflect the cultural realities of young people. The Decolonizing Wealth Project (DWP), a nonprofit initiative, is stepping into that gap with its new Youth Mental Health Fund, which has already distributed $5.07 million to 34 organizations nationwide. The effort prioritizes support for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and people of color) and LGBTQ+ youth, groups that often face barriers to care in traditional systems.
