Abstract: Lipomas are benign tumors composed of mature adipocytes; however, their occurrence within the venous system is rare. Intravascular lipomas are often discovered incidentally, although larger lesions may cause symptoms of venous obstruction or thrombosis. Their origin remains uncertain, with hypotheses suggesting either intraluminal or perivascular development. Treatment is individualized, with surgical excision indicated for symptomatic or obstructive cases. We present the case of a 58-year-old man with left-sided neck swelling found to have an intraluminal lipomatous mass at the junction of the left subclavian and internal jugular veins.
