Agroforestry: Principles and Implementation Effects in the Current Climate Regulation System
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The article is devoted to the study of theoretical aspects of agro-reclamation in the climate regulation system at the present stage of management. The authors analyzed the publications of Russian and foreign authors on the issues under study and concluded that agro-reclamation is considered as an integrated field of activity, the functioning of which ensures the solution of economic, biological, reclamation, landscape, agro-industrial and climatic problems. It was revealed that publications related to climate change mitigation issues have become especially relevant in modern conditions. Based on fundamental monographic works on the study of the economic potential of agro-reclamation, as well as on dialectical principles and a set of general scientific approaches, the authors systematized the principles of effective forestry and agriculture and the implementation of climate projects and identified the effects of agroforestry. The authors have enlarged and regrouped the principles proposed by various authors in relation to the task of ensuring the effectiveness of the implementation of agro-reclamation projects on lands of various purposes in the climate control system (aggregate efficiency, system organization, integrated implementation, methodological compliance, priority of sustainable biodiversity). The set of effects of agroforestry in the climate regulation system has been systematized (an increase in profits from agro-industrial production and the sale of carbon units; an increase in the cadastral value of deforested areas; obtaining an environmental effect and social effect) and the nature of their mutual influence has been determined. It is justified that obtaining separate types of effects can be either interconnected or mutually reinforcing each other, or mutually weaken or exclude each other.
