Methodology for Increasing the Economic Efficiency of Production Processes in the Structural Units of an Agricultural Enterprise
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The article examines the interrelationships between organizational processes that influence the use of machinery, technology, and material and labor resources used to develop an agricultural enterprise. The authors present a methodology for improving the economic efficiency of organizing production processes in an agricultural enterprise. It is proposed to organize production processes at the enterprise in stages. The first stage requires forming a production structure, determining the composition and specialization of departments, and establishing rational relationships between them. The second stage involves developing a production program for dairy cattle, forage production, and crop production. The third stage involves developing a system for interaction between the production departments of the agricultural enterprise. The application of the presented methodology allows, on the one hand, to improve the efficiency and interaction between the structural departments of an agricultural enterprise, and on the other, to significantly reduce material costs for equipment maintenance, optimize the use of labor resources, reduce equipment downtime in dairy cattle, forage production, and crop production, and increase its utilization rate, which, in turn, will lead to a decrease in the cost of manufactured products and an increase in enterprise profits. The article presents the productivity of dairy cattle by lactation phases and standards for calculating herd turnover. An algorithm for calculating feed requirements is proposed.
